Four-years-old (sometimes six-years-old depending on the airline) to twelve-years-old children can travel alone as Unaccompanied Minors.

AT THE CHECK-IN

 

5 documents are mandatory:

  • The ticket or electronic ticket/ boarding pass;
  • An identity card or a passport in their name, depending on the destination;
  • A parental permission;
  • The properly completed identification paper for the person awaiting the child at the destination airport (surname, forename, address, and telephone). This document will be provided in the airport or may be requested upon reservation;
  • The authorisation to leave the country for international flights.

FOLLOWING CHECK-IN 

 

Children are taken care of by the staff of Angers Airport to complete security and boarding formalities and are thereafter entrusted to the care of the airline’s cabin crew until reaching the destination airport.

 

UPON ARRIVAL 

After they disembark, they are entrusted to the person indicated on the receiving person’s identification form upon presentation of identification documentation.
